Try Livingston Forge inside of Raider's Axe Gallery & Entertainment in Lubbock, TX! What began as a hobby in 2013 for blacksmith Daniel Dean has become a full-service metalworking experience. The Lubbock, TX studio accepts commissions for a variety of custom pieces. From knives to steak turners, they can make your vision a reality. They also provide workshops, private lessons, and studio time so that you can make your own metallurgic masterpieces. Livingston Forge in Lubbock, TX offers regular clinics for $100/person. Students will learn about the safety, techniques, and traditions behind blacksmithing. Be sure to ask about the youth discount for 7-14 year olds! All materials, tools, and protective gear will be provided.

Fundamental clinic dates are 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on the following dates: August 14, & 21, September 18

Intermediate clinics run 1-4 p.m. on the following dates: August 14, September 18

Studio time is $15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Private lessons are $45/hour.

If you're looking for a more in-depth learning experience, Livingston Forge offers day-long 8-hour summer sessions from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Each one-day session is $250. The following days are available in Lubbock, TX: August 10-12, and 17-19. Call (806)789-2204 to book your spot!
